Thy Will Be Done on Earth (06-24-2018) - Pastor J.P. Freeman

How do we improve our “conscious contact” with God?

1. Daily, carry the vision of God’s will into all of our activities.
2. Practice Prayer and Meditation.
   A. When we retire at night, we constructively review our day.
   B. Avoid worry, remorse, or morbid reflection that diminishes us.
   C. On awakening think about the 24 hours ahead- consider our plans.
      1. Ask God to direct our thinking.
      2. Ask God for inspiration, an intuitive thought or inspiration.
   D. Pray for an understanding of God’s Will for us, for freedom from self-will  and ask God for the power to carry out God’s Will.
3.  As we go throughout the day we pause “When Agitated” or “doubtful” and ask for the Right Thought or Action.   “Ok God, what is            THY WILL in this?”
4. We are undisciplined, so we let God discipline us- i.e. we let God Disciple us - in the way we’ve just outlined - to help us  Do The              Next Right Thing.

In order to know How to Make “Thy Will Be Done on Earth,” a reality in our lives, we must pray for “an understanding of God’s Will for us and the power to carry that out.”

“Let Go and Let God.”  - We must Let Go of our Control and Let God Control our thoughts.  Then we will know how to work to make “Thy Will Be Done On Earth.”

Wineskins Old and New (04-15-2018) ~ Pastor J.P. Freeman

Jesus speaks in Mark 2:18-22 - Story of the Cloth and Wineskins

“And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. The wine would burst the wineskins, spilling the wine and ruining the skins.  New wine needs new wineskins.”

Our relationship, by faith - with Jesus Christ indwells us with new “effervescence”.

We have to be willing to expand and grow with this new life of Living Spiritual Truth or we burst.

May our Communion today, find us filled, growing & expanding.
