Life isn’t always tied up with pretty paper and bows….sometimes it’s more like a mine field of stress, anxiety, busyness and more.  How can I get all this done?  Will I have enough money?  Why I am out here fighting the traffic and why do I feel this way?  Have you ever asked any of those questions?  Jesus came into a messy world to heal the broken.  He came to bring light to the darkness.  This Advent season we look for the Light in the MESSage.

 “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”  John 8:12

Chapter 1 - Actions - Phil – 1:27 - Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ.Chapter 3 – Advance – Phil 3:13b-14 - But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
Chapter 3 - Attitude – Phil 4:12 – I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.

Philippians 2:1-4 - If you’ve gotten anything at all out of following Christ, if his love has made any difference in your life, if being in a community of the Spirit means anything to you, if you have a heart, if you care— then do me a favor: Agree with each other, love each other, be deep-spirited friends. Don’t push your way to the front; don’t sweet-talk your way to the top. Put yourself aside, and help others get ahead. Don’t be obsessed with getting your own advantage. Forget yourselves long enough to lend a helping hand.

Philippians 1:27-28 - Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ.
